Do you know that 1 slice of pumpkin pie has over 320 calories and 17 grams of fat!!

Pumpkin is a superfood, so why is pumpkin pie so bad for you?    The answer.....THE CRUST!!  If you are looking for a healthy alternative to your fall pumpkin pie, try a pumpkin pie smoothie.  It taste delicious, it's healthy for you, and if drinken post-workout, it delivers all the nutrients needed for a great recovery!  Want to know how to make it....here it is.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
1/2 cup canned pumpkin (not pie filling)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 frozen banana
3 ice cubes
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp cinnimon
1 tsp agave nectar.

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and Enjoy!

316 calories
2.6g fat
6.1g fiber
27.1 g protein
100% delicious!
